BBC explains how they shrank a 2-year time-lapse shot into 60 seconds

David Attenborough narrates this crazy video about a whole team having to map out a real-life nature preserve and then recreate the entire thing in a studio. Because everything had to be mapped onto a pre-existing shot from the actual place, nothing in the studio recreation could be off by more than a few millimeters.
